Welcome
The Global Issues Network Kansai Conference will be held at Canadian Academy on September 7, 2018. The theme of this year's GIN conference is 'unity and action'. The goal of this conference is to select a certain theme of action and create a set of actions that all students who have joined the conference can participate in. The theme of action will be based on the book, High Noon - 20 Global Problems, 20 years to Solve Them by Jean Francois Rischard. Also, the set of action/its theme will be based on the idea 'think globally, act locally'. By doing so it seeks for students to be connected and it will also strengthen our service community for international schools in Kansai. Please explore this website or contact us directly for further information about the conference. We look forward to seeing you at the conference!
What is GIN
GIN is an abbreviation for Global Issues Network. GIN's mission is to empower young people to collaborate locally, regionally and globally in order to create project - based sustainable solutions for our shared global issues. They key global issues are based on the book, High Noon - 20 Global Problems, 20 years to Solve Them by Jean Francois Rischard. GIN conference is a student-led conference and it is a place for students from different school to share what they do in order to make a difference in their community. By sharing students can become aware of the global issues and students can also learn what they can do to take actions.
