The Global Issues Network Kansai Conference will be held at Canadian Academy on February 3rd, 2018. This conference is a place where us students can proudly present the actions we take to solve global issues. The conference will help you raise awareness towards global issues, foster your global citizenship and will help you develop your local collaboration with other students. In the conference you will be asked to share 'what do you do at your school to help solve global issues'. In this conference, by sharing and listening we can learn and reflect the long term and short term actions we can take to help solve global issues. Please explore this website or contact us directly for further information of the conference. We look forward seeing you in the conference!
What is GIN

GIN's mission is to empower young people to collaborate locally, regionally and globally in order to create project - based sustainable solutions for our shared global issues. They key global issues are based on the book, High Noon - 20 Global Problems, 20 years to Solve Them by Jean Francois Rischard. GIN conference is a student-led conference and it is a place for students from different school to share what they do in order to make a difference in their community. By sharing students can become aware of the global issues and students can also learn what they can do to take actions.
